RSS feedsEach section of the Naace website capable of displaying a list of Articles generates its own unique RSS feed. The RSS feed for the home page of the site contains the ten most recent publicly visible Articles. The feeds from other sections of the site contain the ten most recent Articles which match the classifications for that section of the website. The RSS feed from a publication page contains all the Articles in the most recent edition of the publication. RSS feeds on individual Article pages are available to Members only, and contain the ten most recent Comments on the Article. Viewing RSS feedsTo view the RSS feeds, click on the RSS logo at the bottom right of any page providing a feed. The RSS feed is related to the section of the site eg the RSS feed from the Conferences section will provide a list of new Articles categorised as being related to Conferences. The RSS feeds are made available for others to include latest information from the Naace website into their own websites or RSS feed aggregators. Modern Internet browsers such as Firefox and Internet Explorer 7, recognise when RSS feeds are being issued from a website and make provision for the user to display them (usually via an Orange icon). For a more complete understanding of RSS feeds see http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/help/3223484.stm Members’ only RSS feedsSome RSS feeds on this site, specifically feeds of comments on individual articles, are available to Members only. This means that you will have to submit your username and password in order to access the feed. Some RSS feed readers will simply ask for your username and password the first time that the feed is accessed. Others may not support authentication for feeds at all, and some may offer a halfway house and allow you to specify the username and password in the feed URL, for example: http://yourusername:yourpassword@www.naace.co.uk/rss.html?Comments=1&_Id=10&_Auth=1 ![]() Public
