Becoming an Institutional Member of Naace has both practical and strategic benefits. Every school concerned with using ICT effectively needs access to the developing expertise of the Naace community. Naace Members come from many diverse backgrounds including teachers, school managers, curriculum leaders, lecturers, local authority advisors, independent consultants, software developers and designers, sales personnel, technicians, student teachers, company managers, national partners and colleagues from commerce and industry.

With Naace's Institutional membership package all the staff in your school can benefit from what the Naace community has to offer.

What does Naace provide?

  • a weekly e-newsletter providing up-to-date information about ICT in education;
  • online academic journals providing a range of illustrated, referenced articles written by researchers and classroom practitioners covering practical and strategic issues for ICT in education across all sectors;
  • priority tickets for BETT (London) and access to the LA Lounge;
  • representation with Government and national bodies.

What can Naace Members do?

  • participate in focussed consultations and think tanks addressing current challenges to embedding ICT in education;
  • contribute to preparing responses to government on strategic issues relating to ICT in education;
  • receive priority information about government initiatives affecting the use of ICT in education;
  • access online activities and resources;
  • participate in working groups which influence regional and national strategic decision-making related to ICT in education;
  • gain support in working towards the prestigious ICT mark accreditaion scheme which Naace delivers on behalf of Becta;
  • gain support in undertaking the Becta self-review framework;
  • share success, receive answers to questions and debate issues relating to ICT in education through online discussion forums and email lists;
  • apply for annual research grants and bursaries;
  • undertake the ICT co-ordinators course with accreditation from Nottingham Trent University;

How much does it cost?

The cost of Institutional membership per year is based on the size of the school:

Schools with less than 100 pupils: £100

Schools with 100-250 pupils: £250

Schools with 251-500 pupils: £350

Schools with over 500 pupils: £525
