The Naace Strategic Conference 2008 proved to be a very successful event with delegates appreciating the wide range and high quality of speakers. The weather was particularly kind and delegates enjoyed plenty of sunshine in between speaker sessions, discussion groups, networking opportunities and the Sponsors’ Exhibition. Jim Knight opened the event, or rather Jim’s avatar in second life! This set the tone for a challenging and thought provoking three days which, feedback suggests, effectively met delegates professional development needs across the phases ands interest areas. This year we introduced discussion sessions and these proved to be highly popular and useful for the sharing of practice. The Sponsors’ Exhibition was well attended by delegates updating both suppliers and delegates. The Conference was rounded off by the Conference dinner and entertainment by the FabBeatles, who were . . . Fab! Overall the Conference was a very successful event and we would like to thank all those who contributed in so many ways. The planning for 2009 starts now so if you have thoughts about next years event then please contact the events team at events@naace.org. ![]() Sponsors
