Talmos (Teaching and Learning Management Open System) is the name for Core’s suite of educational software and services.
Article classificationsTALMOS has been developed as a whole school Curriculum mis system. The TALMOS range: TALMOS Britannica Secondary draws on the massive Encyclopaedia Britannica resource to enrich the learning environment with authoritative encyclopedic content, engaging multimedia, curriculum mapped learning materials, and useful weblinks – over 1,000,000 learning objects in total. TALMOS Primary helps teachers deliver exciting lessons, share lesson resources and evaluate lesson effectiveness. TALMOS Attendance is a sophisticated pupil and lesson registration system designed to ease teacher workload and raise lesson attendance. TALMOS Gateway is a flexible, web-based CMS tool that allows schools to manage and update their own websites. TALMOS - Classroom Manager and TALMOS Classroom Filter are practical tools to assist teachers in controlling the class and classroom. Securus - acts as a comprehensive safety net across all applications, including chat rooms and email. We work with leading providers and accrediting bodies to ensure TALMOS products meet functional and technical requirements, as well as interoperable industry standards seamless interaction. We also recognise that the Curriculum MIS is the starting point for improving attainment. The inclusion and availability of relevant educational content is mandatory. We work collaboratively with an increasing number of recognised industry publishers to ensure that the educational content is available natively within TALMOS, curriculum mapped and ready to use.
