BETT 2008: Naace seminars and briefings

Naace has been invited to offer two briefing sessions in the Local Authority Lounge. These cover ICT CPD experiences for ICT advisors and the use of web-conferencing to support transition and MFL. Naace will be making four contributions to the Seminar Programme covering collaborative tools in teaching and learning, personalised learning, transforming learning and a report on the 'Let's Play Project'.

Towards a universal definition of e-portfolios

The term ‘e-portfolio’ is perhaps the greatest misnomer of the century – it is neither a folio of work, nor is it portable. Added to this confusion, various creative minds have added all sorts of bells and whistles to what is essentially a good idea, making it potentially an absolute behemoth of claimed functionalities – few of which can actually deliver what students in schools or universities need.
