Children as young as five years old are not only watching films but scripting, filming and editing them as well. These aspiring film makers hope that their films will be good enough to impress a panel of judges and win an award at the Cambridgeshire Young People's Film Awards ceremony. Now in it's fourth year what has been the impact of this annual event? Without a doubt it has engaged young people in the whole film making process and made contributions to their overall development. It has inspired teachers to learn for themselves more about filmmaking and the benefits and opportunities it provides. Industry experts provide an additonal level of support and inspiration.Online submission enables friends and families to join in through online voting and commenting.
