Engaging parents in their children’s education is a national priority. It is seen as one of the keys to improving outcomes for everybody in the school system. What part should technology play in this strategy? There are targets for providing parents with online information about their children’s progress, but what else should schools be doing?

The main purpose of this think tank is to share information about current initiatives, to develop members’ thinking about the role of ICT in parental engagement, and to enable Naace to contribute effectively to future discussion and debate.

Following on from our successful MIS Event in Windsor on the 26th April 2007 Naace is pleased to announce that we shall be running another MIS Event on the 21st November 2008

This single day event is planned to bring together users of school MIS systems, support staff and those advisers and consultants who support schools in their use of electronic data for school improvement.
