Outcome paper from joint e-learning Think tank

In 2006 Naace and QCA held a joint Think tank to try to get to grips with what we really mean by the term 'e-learning'. Like quite a few other e-words that have sprung up in the last year or so, we cannot assume that everyone will use the term in the same way. Does the 'e' just mean electronic, as in 'email', or something more profound?

Any work created goes straight onto students' websites
St Patrick's is a good school - so said Ofsted September 2007!! However, St Patrick's RC Primary School is based in Collyhurst, an inner city school which has traditionally been identified as an area of severe deprivation in Manchester.

ICT was a key issue in the last inspection and the children arrive every day with a range of complex home-based issues prior to attending school. St Patrick's, however have managed to turn things around - and the story told is one of continued successes. I decided to investigate .....
