Free eSafety Training

Naace members are welcome to join us for free eSafety training. The training is held in Second Life. To access the events go to www.secondlife.com to download free software, register and make your avatar. Once you have done that email (see below) us your avatar name; we will find you, make sure that you are prepared and have voice working and bring you to where we meet. During the training sessions you can join the conversations, watch videos, presentations and work collaboratively.

The course runs for four weeks from 8 - 9.30 pm GMT. We cover on-line grooming, cyberbullying, basic eSafety knowledge, policy making etc., and share resources with you. All teachers who complete the course get a CPD certificate. The next two courses are:

27 April 2011, 4 May 2011, 11 May 2011 and 18 May 2011
and
22 June 2011, 29 June 2011, 6 July 2011 and 13 July 2011.
