It brings together colleagues from all over the UK and beyond, together with key players from the government and the industry, and provides a forum to share best practice and exchange ideas.
Our theme, with more than a nod in the direction of Harnessing Technology phase two, is Into the Next Generation - Learning Today and Tomorrow. This embraces many of the challenges we are tackling together in order to build an education system fit for children in the 21st Century. Responding to members and sponsors again, we have tried to find a comfortable and accessible venue in a different region of the UK. Besides the excitement of the Gala Dinner on Wednesday, Tuesday night will be party night as well, with fast-moving entertainment organised by members for members. The 2009 conference is being held at the Blackpool Hilton from the 3rd to the 5th March 2009 with a one day exhibition taking place on Wednesday 4th March 2009.  Events
