In the first programme of Naace Connect we are treated to five episodes:

Direct2U email service and lesson plans

The Direct2U service was a weekly email service produced by Becta in partnership with Naace. The service was for primary teachers and offered lesson plans featuring ICT in activities based on six subject strands. The service is discontinued but you can view the lesson plans in this archive.

BETT 2008: Naace seminars and briefings

Naace has been invited to offer two briefing sessions in the Local Authority Lounge. These cover ICT CPD experiences for ICT advisors and the use of web-conferencing to support transition and MFL. Naace will be making four contributions to the Seminar Programme covering collaborative tools in teaching and learning, personalised learning, transforming learning and a report on the 'Let's Play Project'.

Spanish Mums' Night

This article won the Chris Robson Prize 2003. Roy describes how he started a club for Year 4 pupils to learn Spanish, with the help of some ICT resources. The project culminated in an invitation to the children's mums to join them for an entertaining Spanish evening!

The 101+ Club Project

Imagine a world where schoolchildren are contacting pupils in schools around the world through a totally safe, virtual environment, chatting about differences, sharing pictures, and posting opinions about stories they’ve read and written. Their teachers are making sure skills in literacy, numeracy, ICT and communication are being improved. The children are sharing ideas about how to live more healthy lifestyles. This Article illustrates how some of this is possible through the 101+ Club Project, supported by by the Oracle Education Foundation.
