The school is a Foundation Primary School catering for boys and girls from rising 5’s to 11 years of age and currently has over 500 pupils.
The School is federated with Fawley Infant School and forms a key part of the Blackfield Community.
The junior accommodation has been modernised and extended considerably in recent years and provides extensive facilities with specialist areas. The new infant accommodation gives staff and children attractive, bright facilities, including covered outdoor areas attached to each Reception class, computer, internet and interactive whiteboard facilities in each classroom. Infant children have their own playground area, separate from the older children. However, the older infants integrate with younger juniors so that the progression from infant to junior stage is seamless and free from anxiety.

Notes about the video
Learning in the school is around 6 core values and these are exemplified throughout this video.
- Emotional Intelligence
Look for these values and how they are used to create life-long learners who learn in and around school, at home with their parents and on residential visits. By developing these values, the school believes there are no limits to learning – this is illustrated through their creative approaches and the engagement of the children.
