Who can nominate?
Anyone! You don’t have to be a Naace member to nominate. Nominations are accpted for individuals, projects or small groups of professionals working in schools, colleges, universities, local authorities, agencies, or other organisations however great or small.
Can I nominate more than one person?
Yes – there is no limit to the number of people you can nominate.
Can I nominate the same person for different categories?
Yes you can. However please note that the evidence provided is required to be specific to the category in which you are nominating them. The same evidence cannot be used to nominate one person / project for various categories.
What if the person/organisation I am nominating works across all the categories?
It is permitted to nominate a person/organisation in more than one category. However please note that the evidence provided is required to be specific to the category in which you are nominating them. The same evidence cannot be used to nominate one person / project for various categories.
Does the person I am nominating need to reside in the UK?
No – Nomiantions are not restricted to those living only in the UK.
As a nominator – how much information do I need to provide?
We do ask that nominations are as specific as you are able to be and that you aim to keep it relatively brief and concise to assist judges with their decision. Please note additional material such as links to case studies, websites and attachments will not be considered. We do also ask that you provide us with the contact details for the person you are nominating so that we are able to contact them.
Who are the judges – and how will they make their final decisions?
The judging panel is made up of members of the Naace Board of Management and Naace Fellows. Judges will make their decisions purely on the information provided by the entrant and all entries will be judged following identical criteria and guidelines.
What will the winners receive?
- A specially commissioned award to keep
- Complimentary membership of Naace for one year
- The winners will also be invited to write a report about their work for inclusion in Naace’s Advancing Education journal
