Notes about this video
The Head Teacher states that learning is at the heart of everything they do and this is clearly visible throughout the video:
- Creative and innovative approaches that allow learners to do things in ways they could not do without the technology, such as becoming architects and games creators using SketchUp and Scratch, playing in tennis tournaments on the Wii;
- Basing the learning in real life and real world contexts through their cross-curricular themes;
- Developing creativity and independence so that children can choose how to capture activities and achievements as well as solve problems;
- Engaging the children in review and reflection on their work in order to identify how it can be improved.
