Partnership between NAACE and Eummena grants exclusive ERF license

NAACE, the UK’s education technology association, has entered into an exclusive partnership with Eummena which licences the EdTech Review Framework for use in the Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa.

The collaboration between NAACE and Eummena will be officially announced at Bett 2020 in London (22nd – 25th January), where NAACEis exhibiting and holding its Annual General Meeting.

Based at the University of Leuwen in Belgium, Eummena is a not for profit education consultancy which works with government departments, agencies and schools across the EMEA region.

The new partnership will see Eummena become responsible for the delivery of the ERF in 15 countries across the Middle East and Africa. Eummena will provide localised support and guidance for schools using the ERF to help develop their use of education technologies, and applying for the internationally recognised NAACEMark award.

NAACE will be working closely with Eummena to ensure that the ERF’s standards are maintained across the EMEA region, and that assessments for the NAACEMark award are consistently high-quality. Eummena staff will be trained by experienced NAACEMark assessors in the UK, so that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to effectively deliver the ERF and NAACEMark award in schools throughout the Middle East and Africa.

Steve Moss in one of his final actions as Chair of NAACE, commented on the partnership: “I am very pleased to announce that we have put pen to paper on an agreement between  NAACE and Eummena at Bett. It became clear early in our discussions that we hold a lot in common, and I’m sure that schools throughout the Middle East and Africa will find a lot of value in the EdTech Review Framework.”

The EdTech Review Framework has also been nominated for a Bett Award, in the ‘Leadership & Management Solutions’ category. The winner will be announced at the show on the 22nd January, and NAACE can be found throughout the event on Stand SC74.

First launched over 20 years ago, the EdTech Review Framework has since been used by over 14,000 schools across the globe. The agreement between  NAACE and Eummena will not only make the SRF accessible to a great deal more schools, it will serve to strengthen the UK’s position as a leader in the use of education technology.
