BETT is the world’s largest educational technology event - bringing together the global teaching and learning community for four days of innovations and inspirations.

The Future Role of LAs in Supporting Schools

This conference was for Local Authority staff and focused upon the future relationship between Local Authorities and Schools with regards to the way in which ICT is supported both strategically and technically.

The Future of Technology in our schools: What next?

Technology has the potential to help transform educational outcomes in the UK. The wider coalition government view is that “ICT is a fundamental tool that every modern state needs”[1]. Harnessed successfully, advances in technology help to engage pupils and students, deliver a more effective and productive learning environment and help ensure that school leavers are readier for the world of work.
