NAACE EdTech Review Framework scoops awards shortlisting

NAACE 06/11/2019

The NAACE EdTech Review Framework (ERF) has been shortlisted in the Bett Awards 2020, within the ‘Leadership and Management Solutions’ category. The awards winners will be announced at Bett, the education technology show, on Wednesday 22nd January.

The ERF, published by NAACE, provides guidance to schools looking to improve their use of technology. The ERF encourages the use of edtech throughout school life – not just in teaching, but in administration, communication and beyond. Schools can measure their current edtech usage against the ERF, then work towards achieving the next objectives in each area.

Designed to help schools take a holistic approach to progress, the ERF is made up of six key areas, known as Elements.

  1. Leadership and management
  2. Teaching and learning with technology
  3. Assessment of digital capability
  4. Digital safeguarding
  5. Professional development
  6. Resources and technology

The Bett Awards will be presented at Bett 2020 (London, 22nd – 25th January), where NAACE is exhibiting. NAACE will be hosting a series of seminars at the event, promoting discussion around edtech best practice and inspiration. The association will also be conducting its Annual General Meeting at Bett, setting the direction for NAACE through 2020 and beyond.

Visitors will be able to sign up to a free membership on-stand, gain access to the EdTech Review Framework and join an expanding community of teachers, school leaders, advisors, consultants and commercial partners working across all areas of UK education who share a vision for the developing role of edtech.
