I've worked in education technology for over two decades, starting as an ICT leader in a large primary school before moving into a school improvement roles at Staffordshire local authority. There, I led teams driving innovation through technology, with a focus on pedagogy, school improvement, and emerging digital tools. I also led on bringing the curriculum and technical teams together to deliver a joined-up approach to the integration of new technologies.
Since moving on from local authority work, I’ve founded and led several edtech ventures and currently serve as Education Director for GivEducation, a not-for-profit team of developers and education specialists building software and resources that support meaningful change in schools.
I’ve been a member of Naace for 25 years and a NaaceMark assessor for most of that time. I believe passionately in the power of impartial, evidence-based advice and structured frameworks to support digital strategy and whole-school improvement. As Vice Chair, I'm proud to help shape Naace’s role as the trusted voice of the UK education technology community.
